St Christopher’s Good Neighbour Project is a voluntary community project that runs various activities to help improve the lives of local people. These activities include: a Day Care Centre for over 50’s, a Community Café, a Breakfast Café, a Fruit and Vegetable Market, Shopping Trips for older people, Line Dancing plus a range of Health & Wellbeing Activities for over 50’s.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most of these activities are currently closed. We hope to re-open these as soon as it is safe to do so.

Funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, has helped us to support vulnerable, older people in the local area by delivering hot meals and sandwich packs along with shopping and fruit and vegetable deliveries. Alongside the meal deliveries we are also able to provide a weekly news sheet and activity pack to help prevent boredom and keep people active. Thanks to the Government for making this possible.

If you are over 60, and require any assistance with shopping or would like a meal delivered then please get in touch on 01274 689898.
