We ask before using optional analytics. If you accept, we use PostHog, hosted in its EU region, to understand which pages are useful, which buttons are used, and where people get stuck in our enquiry form. We measure step progress, general validation problems and whether uploads succeed.
What stays out of analytics?
We do not send your name, email address, telephone number, property address, postcode, answers, enquiry reference, valuation, filenames or file contents. We do not record your screen or form entries. Our analytics connection does not forward your browser’s IP address to PostHog.
How visits are linked
After you accept, a random identifier links events within a browser tab. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or after 24 hours. It is stored for that browser tab; restoring a closed tab may restore its session until it expires. It is not linked to your customer record. This is pseudonymous measurement, not a count of identified customers. Our current PostHog plan provides a one-year event reporting window. This is not a guarantee that stored events are automatically deleted exactly one year after collection. For a request about data already collected, contact us using the details below.
Change your mind at any time
Use here or in the footer to accept or reject. We remember that preference in local browser storage for 180 days. Rejecting stops future analytics events and removes the tab’s analytics identifier; it does not erase events already sent. Browser settings may prevent your preference being saved.
Essential website services
Saving an enquiry and securely handling your files are separate from optional analytics. They use the details you provide to process your enquiry. Security and access services may also process technical information to protect the website.
